The Allegany County Traffic Diversion Program

Established by the Allegany County District Attorney’s Office

The Diversion program is designed to enable traffic ticket offenders to resolve their tickets quickly and easily.

Participation in this program allows the offender to settle a traffic citation without court appearances, points on their driver’s license, or increases in insurance premiums.

Let’s Get Started …

1. Click here to open the registration form. You must complete the entire form and submit payment. To simplify this process, please have your driver’s license, traffic citation and credit or debit card handy as you begin.
2. Participate in an approved Defensive Driving Course. You can start and stop at any time and a copy of your certificate of completion will be maintained which should then allow a discount on any policy. This saves you yet more time, trauma and money.
3. Upon completion of the course, you can always see a copy of your certificate of completion here.
